A portrait of my child, once a week, every week, in 2014.

79 days old.

Todays photo is a little late. We have been staying with my parents and I hadn't picked my favourite picture of Matilda from this week. I didn't get chance to schedule the post but I think I've managed to work out how to post from my phone...we'll see when I press publish. I do love this one though, she looks really calm and settled. She's had a hard week and I'm pretty sure she has a tooth working it's way through. I thought it was too early but the health visitor assured me the average age for teething to begin is 12 weeks and Matilda was 11 weeks on Friday. Top-ups of calpol and bonjela seem to be helping.

I had my first night out since her birth last night and even though I ended the night at 11pm it was nice to get dressed up. My feet didn't thank me for squeezing them into shoes that are now too small. The wonder that is pregnancy made my feet wider and it doesn't look like they are going to shrink back. I'm hoping my waist will though. I'll get back to that plan after my Mum takes me for cupcakes on Tuesday.
